Thin brows? Overplucked or over tweezed? In need of more definition and color? Then micro blading was made for you! Microblading is a semi-permanent technique for enhancing the appearance of the eyebrows, in which pigment is placed into the skin in fine, short strokes resembling hair, that gives the illusion of realistic looking hair strokes. It is created with a manual tool using customized pigment and embedding that into the skin. Your microblade artist uses a numbing antiseptic to cleanse and numb the area prior to shading and many guests have actually fallen asleep during the service. The result in 3 hours or less is gorgeous brows customized to your hair color, skin tone and preferences that lasts up to 12 months.

Is Microblading right for me?

While most guests do great with microblading, it is not recommended on individuals on blood thinners or with blood disorders, pregnant or breastfeeding, autoimmune diseases, on accutane within the last year, prone to keloids, super thin skin, rosacea, or allergic to lidocaine or nickel.

As this is a semi-permanent procedure, we ask guests to refrain from the following prior to their appointment:

  • complete a client consent form and make $100 deposit upon scheduling
  • stop brow tint, brow wax, chemical peels, facials, and dermaplane 4 weeks prior
  • stop Botox and filler 2 weeks prior
  • stop retinol 1 week prior
  • avoid alcohol and blood thinning NSAIDS (Advil, Aleve, aspirin) 48 hours prior

What can I expect after my session? – in the same font as the Hydrafacial page
The answer is gorgeous brows right away, however the truly entire healing process will take from 4-6 weeks depending on your body. Your new eyebrows will go through several phases during the healing cycle.

The pigment may appear very unnatural looking immediately after the procedure. The color of the pigment will darken over the next few days – don’t worry it will slowly begin to fade some after that! Any redness should subside by the next day. Blot brows with a tissue for the first hour after the session and wash that day and evening with the cleansing tonic. Blot dry with clean towel or gauze and dab a small amount of healing balm over entire brow. The healing balm should be used multiple times a day for the first 3 weeks, and avoid brow tint and pencil. We promise you won’t need it! Please do not use antiobiotic cream or Aquaphor.

On days 2-5 the skin will shed the dead skin cells resembling dandruff flakes or dry skin. However, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. On days 5-15, you may be tempted to pick – do not pick and allow the skin to fall off naturally. Note that because of natural skin regeneration, after this recovery period (peeling) up to day 30, brows might appear lighter than the original. This might give you the impression that color is fading too quickly. Often even with proper care, clients may have more fading in some areas which make the brows look uneven. It is absolutely normal and why we include a touchup after 6 weeks to ensure longevity and even coverage.
